2011 Season VENDORS

Schedeen Farms
Schedeen Farms is operated by Tony and Julie Schedeen, who've been growing berries in the Cascade foothills since 1977. We currently grow 24 varieties including some unusual cultivars like Tayberries (a cross between Raspberries, Aurora Blackberries and Olallieberries). We also grow Raspberries, Strawberries, Marionberries, Boysenberries, Loganberries, Blueberries and many Blackberries. We also grow corn, beans, peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuces, summer & winter squash, pumpkins & gourds plus anything new and fun we come across. And we do all this without using any insecticides. We are big fans of ladybugs, lacewings, praying mantis and crop rotation. Located near Boring, Oregon.

Alsea Acre Goat Cheese
Alsea Acre specialty cheeses are produced on a small goat dairy located in an isolated valley of Oregon's Coast Range where mild winters and cool summers are ideal for the production of European style cheeses. Definitely not "mega-goat industries," this small herd of French and American Alpine dairy goats is lovingly cared for by artisan cheese maker, Nancy Chandler, a former Marketing Manager for a high-tech firm, who quit the rat race and "bought the farm." Alsea Acre's goat cheeses sold at the Irvington Farmers' Market include Fromage Blanc in the following flavors: Plain, Sun-dried Tomato, Basil/Roasted Hazelnut, Garlic/Chive, Roasted Garlic and Roasted Red Pepper. We are sharing a booth with Missionary Chocolates so stop by for a taste of cheese and chocolate.
